Sometimes I see a game and think “that looks like a lot of fun,” and I immediately head over to the App Store to download it. Once in the App Store, I second guess myself wondering if I misspelled the title, only to find out it’s not currently available for my iOS devices; well that sucks! This literally just happened to me when I opened an email from Tiny Build, an indie game developer founded in 2011, that showcased a new game available on Steam called Lovely Planet.
This FPS game is super trippy looking and will have you shooting your infinite supply of ammunition as you master hundreds of levels across five worlds. In order to succeed at Lovely Planet, players must eliminate only the bad guys, avoid getting hit by projectiles, and shoot the apples that are shot up in the air before they hit the ground, don’t jump too early or too late as you make your way across each obstacle, make correct left and right turns on the course, and avoid landing on a red disk on the ground. Sounds like a lot of work and it is. Repetition is key in Lovely Planet.
If you’re looking to experience Lovely Planet on your iOS device, like I was, you’re going to have to cross your fingers. As of right now, I don’t have any information suggesting it will crossover to iOS. You can download it from Steam for your Windows, Mac, and Linux.
