iOS 8.0.1 Renders iPhone 6 Useless [News]

iOS 8 received its first update, but things didn’t go very smooth for some iPhone 6 users. Welcome to Updategate where some users are reporting their Touch Id sensor isn’t working properly and they are no longer able to receive phone calls. Those who updated to iOS 8.0.1 and are using older models aren’t reporting problems like users with iPhone 6 models. So if you downloaded this update and you’re using an iPhone 5s or older, you dodged a bullet. Apple has announced they are working to fix the problems and will hopefully have everything taken care of in a couple days. In the meantime, you can downgrade back to iOS 8.0 and here’s how you do it.
