For me, iTunes Radio has finally replaced Pandora. It’s not perfect but with the steep increase in pricing for an ad free Pandora, it was a no brainer for me to move on. I subscribe to iTunes Match, so I get add free radio and essentially I get to enjoy two functions for the price of one. There’s one thing I like a lot more about iTunes Radio and that’s the ability to review my song history on my iOS devices.
There’s nothing more frustrating than trying to remember the name of a song you previously heard. In the past, I’ve used Shazam on a regular basis to store song information. Well, with iTunes Radio I don’t have to do that anymore. If I want to see what I’ve been listening to or I need to refer back to a song I liked, all I do is click on history up in the upper lefthand corner of my iPhone or iPad.
In most cases, when I like a song I go ahead and add it to my wish list. From the history screen you can also view your wish list to see all the songs you’ve added. If you no longer like a song or you’ve recently purchased it, swipe left to delete it from your wish list.
